I thought my customers might be interested in this story. After about 3 years of being in business I received a call from a state trooper. He called to tell me that he had run over his HAT-PAK^TM with his vehicle. I asked if he did it with his cruiser, thinking it was in the line of duty.  I saw no problem in replacing it for him.

To my surprise, he said no.  He had done it in his driveway with his pick up truck.  I replied that he must have one heck of a flat hat. He said the hat was not in theHAT-PAK^TM.

Not knowing where this conversation was leading I asked if he wanted a replacement. He said he didn't feel justified asking for one and did not need a new one.  He said he wanted to see how well the HAT-PAK^TM would stand up under "certain conditions".  So, he decided to put the HAT-PAK^TM down on his driveway and run over it with his truck.

He said it scratched, the knobs chipped, but the HAT-PAK^TM did not break!  I commented that although the product had been tested by a law enforcement testing company, similar to the Consumer Products testing division and while I was satisfied that they approved of the HAT-PAK's^TM quality - his testimony really wowed me.

We had a good laugh over his test and I left him with the thought that maybe he should just stick to law enforcement. (I did send him a new HAT-PAK^TM )
